The Memphis Cook Convention Center is searching for a new name.
The Convention Center Board approved hiring a pair of firms to study how much naming rights to the soon-to-be renovated convention center would be worth and then to market those rights. The sale could provide a much-needed cash infusion into the publicly owned facility, which often runs a net loss.
