First units open at apartment tower in Midtown Houston, Australian developer’s first US project

Residential leasing at Australian developer Caydon’s first stateside luxury mixed-use project is off to a strong start.

Caydon reports that it’s already leased over 10 percent of the apartment units in the 27-story high-rise at 2850 Fannin St., known as Drewery Place.

A Caydon spokeswoman said the company is pleased with the early interest in the $200 million project, especially since preleasing at Drewery Place just began in May. Construction of the tower topped out in December.
