Chip Gaines and Joanna Gaines are expanding their business empire with a dramatic fixer-upper in downtown Waco about an hour-and-a-half drive north of Austin.
The Gaineses — famous from their HGTV series "Fixer Upper" — announced a partnership with Adventurous Journeys Capital Partners to restore the 90-year-old Grand Karem Building near their popular Magnolia Market. AJ Capital is a Chicago-based company that owns and operates hotels.
