Food: Paul Newman’s daughters sue foundation using proceeds from brand


Two of Paul Newman's daughters are suing the foundation their father set up at the height of his Hollywood stardom.

Newman's Own Foundation was created in 2005 partly to create organic and healthy snacks and use the proceeds to fund camps and other activities for children in need.

It grew out a company called Newman's Own, which first sold a specialty salad dressing, then expanded into cookies and even pet treats. Paul Newman and writer A.E. Hotchner created the company in 1982.
