Former basketball star Kevin Garnett sues Louisville accounting firm


Former NBA star Kevin Garnett is suing Louisville accountant Michael Wertheim, and his firm, Welenken CPAs, for malpractice, breach of fiduciary duty and aiding and abetting.

In the lawsuit, Garnett alleges he suffered an enormous financial loss — $77 million — at the hands of his long-term wealth manager, confidant and personal friend Charles Banks IV.
