(Gallery) Developer to bring $27.7M downtown project to city council


A developer is planning to build up to 90 apartments, townhomes and row houses on a three-acre site at the southwest corner of South Elm Street and Gate City Boulevard – if the Greensboro City Council votes Tuesday to sell the property to an LLC affiliated with Arden Communities of Winston-Salem.

The manager of developer Greenline Holdings II LLC is Stuart Parks, managing member of Arden Group. The development is convenient to Greensboro's Union Square Campus, which opened in 2016.
