A sprawling ranch featuring a rustic lodge, its own saloon and private ski slopes is on the market for $36 million.
Elk Island Ranch, while just minutes from Kremmling, boasts roughly 6,343 secluded acres about 50 miles from five ski resorts, including Breckenridge and Steamboat. The property was listed for sale in early August by Charlie Gallagher, a private-equity executive, who was inducted into the Colorado Business Hall of Fame in 2011.
