Looking to further revitalize the Washington County Fair Complex, city officials and others kicked off construction of a new $46 million event center in Hillsboro this week.
Designed by LRS Architecture, the new center will hit about 89,000 square feet and include exposition space and a conference center with a commercial kitchen, concessions and offices.
