After closing his Centre Avenue restaurant Avenue B last year, chef Chris Bonfili has announced he will open a new restaurant called Bonfire Food & Drink at 2100 East Carson Street on the South Side.
The new restaurant will be on two levels and is expected to open in the fall, taking the former location of Circolo Wood-fired, which closed after a short run nearly three years ago and is only now being replaced.
