HCA calls off deal to buy Utah hospitals after challenge from Feds

A proposed deal for HCA Healthcare Inc. to purchase five Utah hospitals from Steward Health Care System has been called off by the hospital operators, according to a news release, after the Federal Trade Commission filed a complaint to block the deal.
