The recent death of Charlie Munger, the long-serving Berkshire Hathaway Inc. vice chairman and investing partner of Warren Buffett, brought back memories of his words of wisdom he shared with me and others attending an investor lunch in San Francisco in 1996.
While Munger and Buffett had established themselves as very successful investors by the mid-’90s, they had not yet achieved the rock-star status that they have since earned on Wall Street and beyond.
