Holy Names University in talks with buyer for Oakland campus who would preserve educational use


Marketing materials for the 60-acre campus suggested it could be redeveloped into housing. Oakland officials, who say the campus has been a crucial generator for economic and workforce development, said it should remain educational in use. Now the school may have found a buyer willing to keep it that way.
