Why this List is unranked: A number of the region’s largest home builders have declined to submit information in recent years, so for this List, we included the builders who did respond as well as some of the larger names without ranking them. We took information from their websites and other promotional materials to list recent developments the home builders have developed. About The List: The survey area includes Albany, Columbia, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Warren and Washington counties. Information on The List was supplied by individual builders through questionnaires in some cases, and taken from home builder websites and promotional materials, and could not be independently verified in all cases by the Albany Business Review.
