After nearly a decade of producing the Business Journal's quarterly Hottest 'Hoods galleries, we've decided to evolve the project a bit.
Thanks to the Regional Multiple Listing Service (RMLS) generously sharing local residential sales data, we've been able to track the Portland-area ZIP codes where the most homes sold, where homes fetched the highest prices and where homes sold the fastest. Then, we put all these factors together in the Heat Index, to identify the 'hoods with the most activity overall.
