Houston-area homebuilder expands board with addition of only female director


The Woodlands-based LGI Homes Inc.’s (Nasdaq: LGIH) board of directors has added Laura Miller — currently its only female member.

Miller’s addition increases the board to seven directors, according to a Jan. 3 press release. She will serve as an independent director until LGI’s 2019 annual meeting of stockholders.
