How Alabama colleges stack up in LendEdu student debt report


LendEDU has published its fourth annual Student Loan Debt by School by State Report, and here’s how universities in Alabama stack up.

The study found the average debt per borrower in the state totaled $29,564 in 2018 with 50% of students graduating with debt.

Metro Birmingham colleges on the list include the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Samford University, Birmingham-Southern College and the University of Montevallo.
