How Florida Blue is making health insurance affordable for uninsured workers and small businesses


Some Florida small businesses do not offer health insurance, but that doesn’t mean they don’t care about their employees.

“Each year, small employers across the state have to make tough decisions about offering health insurance to their employees. It’s not a question of wanting to offer it, but a matter of affordability,” said Sanela Boyce, vice president, product and local market integration for Florida Blue, Florida’s local Blue Cross and Blue Shield health plan.
