How this startup accelerator is scaling ‘Earthshot’ ideas with $8 million


Electric scooter startup Scoot is rolling out a pilot program in San Francisco’s Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood thanks to $750,000 from Honolulu and Palo Alto-based Elemental Excelerator (EEx). The company hopes to develop mobility services targeting lower income communities.

“What I love about the accelerator is it’s looking for solutions that can scale,” said Scoot president Justin Dawe.
