Husband-wife team, former Opa chef & Philly AIDS cofounder, head to South Philadelphia for restaurant with a mission


The former chef of Philadelphia Greek restaurant Opa, Bobby Saritsoglou, will open his first restaurant in an area straddling two up-and-coming dining neighborhoods in South Philadelphia.

He's opening Mediterranean BYOB restaurant Stina with wife Christina Kallas-Saritsoglou, cofounder of Philly AIDS Thrift, so the eatery will have a mission, too, to help revitalize its new neighborhood home.
