Investments in Kansas, Missouri biomedical companies ‘fairly depressing’ in 2018


Investors put $62.1 million into Missouri biomedical companies last year, while Kansas companies received a mere $25.98 million, according to a report that tracks capital investments made in biomedical companies across 11 states in three sectors: medical device; biotechnology and pharmaceuticals; and health IT/software and services.
