Iron Ox lays off half the company, says Austin-area greenhouse to remain open


The layoffs mark an abrupt halt to the Silicon Valley startup's lofty plans – much of which have been centered in Central Texas. Just about a year ago the company raked in an additional $53 million in series C funds that brought its total funding to $98 million. But times, they are changing.
