JobsOhio narrows its strategy for brownfield redevelopment


With a growing state economy and active real estate market statewide, JobsOhio is refining its brownfield redevelopment program.

The state's private development arm has for several years offered economic incentives to redevelop old industrial land for new commercial uses. But with the housing market in the state more active and metro economies growing, it's turning its attention more to the state's rural areas, said Kristi Tanner, senior managing director at JobsOhio.
