KC’s NNSA campus would more than double in size, add 1,000 new employees


New programs and rapid employee growth have left the National Nuclear Security Administratinon's south Kansas City campus short on space. City planners advanced a proposal that would add a 245-acre expansion to the already 192-acre campus. The move also could result in hiring 1,000 new employees in the next decade.
