Kokua Market upgrades property, products


Natural food co-op Kokua Market has recently completed a series of enhancements to its property, including a repaint to both the interior and exterior, improved lighting, upgraded Wi-Fi and a new point of sale system. Plus, the store also renovated its lanai, adding new picnic tables and furniture.

The projects were funded with a $5,000 grant from Ulupono Initiative.

“We took that $5,000 and we turned it into about $25,000 worth of renovations,” said Laurie Carlson, Kokua Market’s board chairperson…
