Las Vegas Sands’ 108-acre purchase in Irving turns heads


An LLC tied to the Las Vegas Sands in mid-2023 bought more than 100 acres in Irving, northwest of downtown Dallas. Now the family that owns the Sands wants to buy the Dallas Mavericks and try to convince Texas to legalize gambling.
