Lenexa Chamber of Commerce selects new CEO to succeed veteran Schreck


Ashley Sherard will succeed Blake Schreck in February as CEO of the Lenexa Chamber of Commerce and as head of the city's Economic Development Council.

Sherard has been the vice president of the chamber's board of directors since 2002.

An attorney and University of Kansas graduate, she has worked in the Johnson County business community for more than 25 years. Before coming to Lenexa, Sherard managed government affairs and advocacy for the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce and Johnson County.…
