Letter to the Editor: Living, working, and thriving in Philadelphia


The Sept. 3rd article, “Think Philadelphia is an affordable place to live? Think again.”, doesn’t fully capture the value and opportunity offered throughout Greater Philadelphia.

Compared to Boston, New York City, and Washington, D.C., our region has a lower cost of doing business, lower office rental rates, lower cost of labor, and more affordable housing.

Both New York City and Boston have higher cost of goods, services, and rents at 22% and 12% respectively above the national average.…
