Lodestar Investment Counsel acquired by Cincinnati firm


One of Greater Cincinnati’s largest investment advisory firms, Bartlett Wealth Management, has reached a deal to acquire a Chicago firm and merge it into its operations.

Downtown-based Bartlett is adding Lodestar Investment Counsel in a deal that’s expected to close July 1, Bartlett CEO Kelley Downing told me. The deal is the biggest in Bartlett’s 121-year history and gives the company its only office outside of Cincinnati.
