Louder than Life festival canceled because of rain, flooding


This weekend's Louder than Life festival at Champions Park has been canceled because of continuing rain and deteriorating conditions.

The soggy conditions also forced the cancellation of part of the festival's sister event, Bourbon and Beyond, last weekend.

"Delivering a great experience for our fans will always be our top priority — but that great experience starts with safety," Danny Hayes, CEO of festival producer Danny Wimmer Presents, said in a news release.
