Manufacturing job cuts, Boeing averts strike, high-end homes: The National Observer August 4, 2022


Good morning, everyone.

The last time I bought a car, back in 2018, I wanted to buy an electric vehicle. My wife talked me out of the decision, however, based on how much of a pain she thought road trips would be. We lived in Texas at the time, which is — as you may have heard — quite big. I still poke fun at her for talking me out of it, especially as charging stations become more common and gas prices have risen to historic levels this summer.

Well, maybe next time I’ll be able to talk…
