Marriott Country Club Plaza will get renovations after its owner sells portfolio in $3.8B deal


Brookfield Asset Management Inc. last month took ownership of the Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza and 23 other U.S. hotels after acquiring Watermark Lodging Trust Inc. A new round of renovations could follow, according to new commercial mortgage-backed securities documents.
