Marriott hotel in Minnetonka bought for $24 million, a discount of 29%


The Minneapolis Marriott Southwest in Minnetonka has a new owner, which acquired the hotel at a discount of nearly 29% late last month, according to a public filing with the Minnesota Department of Revenue.

The buyer, MN Opus VII LLC, paid $23.6 million for the hotel that’s located in the Opus Business Park. The 323-room Marriott sold for $9.5 million less than the last time it traded hands in 2014, according to Hennepin County property records.
