McClain’s auction house reopening in Honolulu this weekend in familiar space


McClain’s Ultimate Attic Auctions & Liquidations is reopening in a familiar spot in Downtown Honolulu and is holding its first live auction there on Saturday.

The auction house is opening in a 3,200-square-foot space at 1 N. King St. — not the space on the corner of Nuuanu Avenue it once occupied, but on the Ewa side of the building, auctioneer Wendy McClain told Pacific Business News.

“We’ve come full circle,” she said. “When my husband was alive we had the whole building.”
