Memphis-based VeinViewer co. acquired by Orlando group


An Orlando firm sees growth potential in a technology developed in Memphis.

On June 28, CAREstream acquired Memphis-based Christie Medical Holdings Inc. and its VeinViewer technology.

The technology projects a real-time HD image of peripheral veins, allowing health care providers to see vessels for blood draws and other necessary, related procedures. The VeinViewer technology is used in more than 50 countries.
