Vireo Health International Inc., the parent company of Minnesota Medical Solutions and several other medical-marijuana ventures, has gained approval to grow and sell medical marijuana in Puerto Rico, the 11th market for the sprouting company.
Minneapolis-based Vireo Health announced the news Thursday. The expansion follows the company's acquisition of a number of pre-approval licenses to grow and sell cannabis products at up to six dispensaries on the island country.
