Minnesota Chamber of Commerce raises concerns about pot legalization bill


The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce is asking the Legislature to scale back its prioritization of ending the state’s prohibition on adult-use recreational cannabis.

In a letter to the House State and Local Government Finance and Policy Committee, which will hear testimony on the bill Tuesday morning, the chamber raised several concerns about House File 100 — the bill that would legalize recreational marijuana — and said the Legislature should not consider it a priority.
