Minnesota State Fair breaks attendance record in 2019


It’s getting a little redundant, but the Minnesota State Fair reached a new high water mark for attendance over its 12-day run in 2019.

This year, 2,126,551 attended the Great Minnesota Get-Together, a 4 percent increase over 2018, when 2,046,533 people showed up.

Big crowds basked in the nearly perfect late-summer weather, with high temperatures stuck in the 70s for the duration. There was only one rainy day, the first Monday, which usually has relatively light crowds anyway.
