MLG sells Pewaukee Plaza after refilling its empty space


The Pewaukee Plaza shopping center on Capitol Drive sold for $5.5 million after a nearly two-year turnaround that refilled its vacant space with a new Ashley HomeStore and other retailers.

The property at 1230 Capitol Drive was at about 9 percent occupancy in early 2017 when an investment fund created by MLG Capital in Brookfield acquired it, said principal Andrew Bruce. It sold on Sept. 5 at about 98 percent occupancy thanks to new leases MLG sealed with Ashley, a Domino’s pizza restaurant…
