Neighborhood Health completes expansion, going mobile


Neighborhood Health Center has completed a $500,000 expansion at its main site in Black Rock, with a second expansion coming soon that takes operations on the road.

The nonprofit health center will cut the ribbon Thursday at its Lawn Avenue site, where it has added five exam rooms and renovated additional space.

The project was funded by a $250,000 grant from the John R. Oishei Foundation as well as federal grant funding and $75,000 raised from individual donors..
