New owner plans to close Minneapolis HQ for Angie’s Boomchickapop

Food giant Conagra Brands Inc., which bought Angie's Artisan Treats and its Boomchickapop popcorn brand last year, is closing the company's Minneapolis offices and shifting jobs to other cities.

A spokesman for Chicago-based Conagra (NYSE: CAG) said about 60 employees from Angie's Boomchickapop Loring Park-area offices will be affected as that work moves to Chicago and Omaha. "We are providing severance support as people leave the company," Dan Hare wrote in an email.
