New Mexico held its own at the 2018 U.S. Open Beer Championship. Three breweries brought home four medals and one local college placed in the Top 3 Brewing Schools in North America at the 2018 U.S. Open College Beer Championship.
The 2018 U.S. Open Beer Championship bills itself as the only competition to include beers from professional breweries and award-winning home brewers. Over 6,300 beers representing more than 110 styles were submitted this year, according to the website.
