Oakland Roots and Soul propose temporary soccer stadium nearby Oakland Coliseum

The soccer clubs approached the city of Oakland and Alameda County with a proposal to lease a roughly 9-acre surface parking lot this spring. Plans for a new stadium there are now moving forward.
