OHSU teams up with UC Davis to increase rural physician numbers


Oregon Health and Science University and UC Davis Health are entering into a $1.8 million partnership with the American Medical Association to boost the number of physicians in rural Oregon and Northern California.

The program plans to send hundreds of medical students and resident physicians to train in Northern California and Oregon rural hospitals. UC Davis will run the program with OHSU.
