OHSU will reactivate heart transplant program in August


Oregon Health & Science University President Dr. Danny Jacobs said Friday he expects the university’s advanced heart failure program, which encompasses heart transplants, to be fully back up and running on Aug. 31, a year after it was deactivated.

“We’re delighted to be on track to bring the program back,” Jacobs said in an interview.
