Cincinnati’s largest locally based accounting firm has acquired two Michigan-based firms.
Downtown-based Clark Schaefer Hackett on Thursday announced a merger with Warmels & Comstock and Layton & Richardson, both headquartered in East Lansing, effect July 1. Sales terms were not disclosed.
Warmels & Comstock and Layton & Richardson have each served the Lansing area for more 50 years. Layton & Richardson will relocate to Warmels & Comstock’s office location, which will grow to include 50 employees.
