Panasonic will almost double its acreage for EV production in De Soto as site gets a new name


Panasonic's battery manufacturing operation will take more of the 9,035 acres at the former Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant location, which has been renamed as its longtime owners seek new companies and developers to join the company as it prepares to begin a $4 billion plant project.
