Panthers donate $1M to research at Levine Cancer Institute


The Carolina Panthers have committed $1 million toward research at Charlotte-based Atrium Health's Levine Cancer Institute.

The institute's new family and visitor center will be named the Keep Pounding Family Center in honor of the Panthers' pledge. Located on the third floor of LCI's second building, the center has four computer bays, a bistro space and a TV area. The center provides an area where family members and visitors can stay while a patient receives treatment.
