Pasta bar in works for former John Hawks space in downtown Milwaukee


A new pasta bar is under development for a riverfront space in downtown Milwaukee.

Alvaro Niño de Guzman Sr. and his son, Alvaro Niño de Guzman Jr. are creating a new dining spot called Tua Pasta. The restaurant will be at 100 E. Wisconsin Ave., where the former John Hawks Pub previously operated. The pub closed in 2016 after more than four decades in business.
