Pastry chef Diane Moua to leave Bellecour, open a Hmong restaurant in Minneapolis


James Beard Award-nominated pastry chef Diane Moua is leaving Bellecour Bakery at Cooks of Crocus Hill to pursue her dream of opening her own restaurant, according to a Tuesday announcement.

Moua is planning a full-service eatery honoring her Hmong heritage and upbringing, featuring some of her famous French-inspired baked goods, alongside authentic Hmong dishes.
