Platform Beer’s Columbus taproom closed as employees walk out

A Columbus taproom is closed amid an employee dispute.

The local operation for Cleveland-based Platform Beer Co. closed Saturday as employees walked out on the business, posting a letter at the brewery that then made its way to social media with numerous complaints against ownership concerning pay and safety.

The letter was addressed to co-founder Justin Carson, who started the brewery in 2014 with Paul Benner. Platform was acquired by Anheuser-Busch InBev in 2019.
